Ours would be baby Ka - a little harsh sounding I think but it does have multiple pronunciation options Kah Kay Kaaaaah Kay-aygrin

or baby Vectra which actually has a nice ring to it...........

We would have had baby Esprit, baby Voyager, baby Multipla and baby Espace!

DD would be Audi or A4 hmm not such a great ring to it.
DS would be Peugeot 206 his midle name would be hire as it was a hire car my mum had and she took me to hospital in labour in.

first car i had when i had kids - was a Talbot Horizon

Talbot - i think thats a really nice bazzin name - beats the shit outta vectra grin

RustyBear Thu 19-Nov-09 16:02:45

Depends if it was my car or DH's

DH's Toyota for a girl, Avensis for a boy
Mine Daihatsu for a boy, Charade for a girl

Though if it had been at the time I actually had the DC, a boy would have been Ford and a girl Orion....

Bramshott Thu 19-Nov-09 16:02:48

My DD2 would be Baby Passat, which considering she actually WAS born in it we did momentarily consider grin!

SkipToMyLou Thu 19-Nov-09 16:03:42

DD - Passat or Volvo.
DS - Passat or Polo.

Ugh.

Bloomin heck @ Talbot Horizon Custy! Takes you back eh?

My boy would be Ford and my girl would be Escort. Heh heh. Nothing wrong with Escort for a girl, is there?

MadreInglese Thu 19-Nov-09 16:06:06

Oh I like Talbot and Daihatsu, very cool grin

A4 could pass for a Welsh name I reckon, "Aiffor"

edam Thu 19-Nov-09 16:07:43

ds would be Peugot 306. Which doesn't really have much of a ring about it. Suppose we could keep the 306 as a middle name though.

Mcdreamy Thu 19-Nov-09 16:07:54

I would have

Baby MX 5
Baby Audi A6
Baby S Max

OmniDroid Thu 19-Nov-09 16:08:02

Octaviagrin

or Yaris. I quite like that - baby Yaris.

I'm not sure about calling my daughter Honda Civic. Life is tough enough... smile

edam Thu 19-Nov-09 16:09:42

Those parents missed a trick though, they could have called the newborn Carenza like that archaeologist on Time Team.

bluebump Thu 19-Nov-09 16:11:12

Baby 106 GTI or Baby Jaguar depending on whose car we were out in at the time! Both equally awful!

MadreInglese Thu 19-Nov-09 16:12:52

oooh yes baby Yaris

<puts on list>

SoupDragon Thu 19-Nov-09 16:13:37

I guess I'd have Renault, Laguna and Dynamique hmm

Mine would be Escort (our car in ancient)

109 stagecoach bus.

RatherBeOnThePiste Thu 19-Nov-09 16:16:46

Baby Jeep
not too bad hmm

silverfrog Thu 19-Nov-09 16:17:07

Dd1 could have been Vogue hmm or Discovery. Rover natch for a boy

dd2 gets the delightful choice between FRV (not sure it's a good idea to call your dd Family Recreational Vehicle grin) or A3

phobiccauliflower Thu 19-Nov-09 16:17:46

Our twin girls would be called Previa and Yaris. Bit chavvy? Or OK?

DontHauntMeBaby Thu 19-Nov-09 16:19:32

Corolla, which is actually quite nice. hmm

If we had another it'd be called 5, which is a bit postmodern for my liking.

SolidGoldBangers Thu 19-Nov-09 16:20:39

I did actually have a friend some years ago who was called Mini for this reason.

DS was born in a hospital bed, but had he been born on the way to hospital he would be Docklands Light Railway.

mercedes for a girl, bentley for a boy.
