It's about bloody time too.

I wouldn't trust that ditzy blond from Balamore with my under 5, that's for sure.

But the Chuckle Brothers aren't on CBeebies...

overmydeadbody you're right.

She has to ask my name EVERY DAY. Too much dope if you ask me!

Well I am confident re Justin's credentials as a childcarere/educator and his understanding of the EYFS - Mr Tumble less so...

Personally I think we should see Granny Murray get OFSTEDed
and Miss Hoolie

(NB will the new CRB thing apply to all actors who work with children? or does it already?)

But you have to admire her catchall phrase "is that so!" after she asks how you are. Covers all multitude of sins.

But am not impressed with her fluctuating staff-child ratios, high turnover of staff (who knows who is going to turn up today, we have to rely on a theme tune to find out!)and her neglect of child-centred activies while she drinks endless cups of tea or pops outside to check on missing scarecrows and the like

at regularly saying 'is that so?' to dd when she is burbling unintelligibly.
I blame Miss Hoolie...

If CBeebies is going to cop it, I don't hold out much hope for my childminder.

[embarassed] at absently singing josie-jump-is-my-name with our alternative lyrics while wheeling DS round the supermarket..

I actually know an actor who is banned from working with children so yes, it does I guess.

Ah, but if we all stop paying our licence fee then we should be OK, as there will be no 'reward', right?

spiralqueen · 29/09/2009 23:37

ROFL - is it safe to have someone with as bad a case of amnesia as Miss Hoolie working with children?

Hope no one shows this to Ofsted or they will be trying to do it on present form. The labour party were also promising to increase intervention in family matters today. In tune with the nation there don't you think? [walks off shaking head in despair]

Mrs Hoolie is an angel compared to Granny Murray. Neglectful, sinister, constantly wanting to sit down...wouldn't trust her with my dog - obviously not an opinion shared by Dr Whotsit.

Miss Hoolie even
And yes, I was very impressed when C&L went shoe shopping recently without a parent in sight! Why can they not have parents - are they too hard to draw?

Whereas the Tweenies never do anything without Max or Judy hovering in the background. What are the relationships there anyway?
