At the risk of this being a TAAT...

I was looking forward to reading it Confused. There were lots of differing views, but I enjoy that - it's boring if we all agree (even if half the people on the thread were wrong Wink)

Oh well.

Which one?

There isn't exactly a shortage of Brexit threads if that's what you want to talk about.

There was only one on here.. I know I can hunt them out, but I got invested in this one Wink

Maybe it was the link... but they happen all of the time! Don't know why some are fine and some aren't. Oh well.

Loads of Brexit threads here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/eu_referendum_2016_

You're bound to find another one you like.

Do you mean the one spamming a link for crowd funding donations?

I thought canvassing/fundraising on main borads was banned and always zapped.

it was the one with link to petition to get Parliament debating Brexit again.
More mickey taking than not. Petition link was legit.

Threads promoting petitions are moved into the Petitions Topic (regardless of what the petitions is about. Or how dear to the heart of the Original Poster)

Mildly surprised that didn't happen here - if the thread was promoting a petition.

If just politicking/canvassing, it'll be zapped though. As this is a chat, not a campaigning site.

I wouldn't have been surprised if the one message was deleted or the thread moved into a more appropriate area, I was just surprised the whole thread has gone. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but that could be said for most threads!
