just in case people are travelling and haven't seen the news.

Question though. if you were driving on the other side, would you keep driving under the part that wasn't collapsed? on footage it seems lots did, but Im pretty sure I wouldn't. Especially as it looks to be dipping down.

I would expect the road to be closed pfq in both directions.
and no, I wouldn't drive through it unless it's in a bad location and I couldn't stop before I saw.

reportedly people were trying to stop people driving under it before the emergency services arrived.

What an absolute miracle that no one was killed.
There certainly is someone up there.
Hope the poor gentleman with the broken ribs is better is on the mend soon.
I wonder how it happened.

Lorry with a digger on top went under and was too tall for it. I think the bridge in question is very new and not actually open for pedestrians yet (thank goodness)

It would be horrid to be the Lorry driver! We all make dweeby mistakes, some have bigger consequences than others.

I meant there certainly is or rather was in the instance of the bridge collapse.
