Lenient sentencing of paedophile

In Ireland today.
A paedophile gets 4 years for the abuse of his 4 daughters.
Even though the judge said it was a home of horror.
Ffs. He gives him 4 lousy years.
What kind of message does that send out?
What is wrong with judges?
