From now on the race becomes winner take all. If Trump wins Florida on March 15, it is probably all over.

Ted Cruz did quite well, won 3 states, just won Alaska, Sarah Palin's state.

Rubio, suprisingly, won one state - Minnesota.

Yes Donald Trump has children.

www.deathandtaxesmag.com/279091/donald-trump-ivanka-trump-photo-gross/

He has 2 girls and 3 boys.
He also has 4 bankruptcies.
He is on his third wife.

I stand corrected on his ancestry.

Yes, there is no doubt that Trump is a narcissist who doesn't like rejection and who bears crazy grudges.

I said: "I guess he can look funny if you are WASP rather than any of the minorities bearing the wrath of his hate speech and if you are the sort of person who thinks it is funny to insult and oppress minorities. I don't."

'You' in the sentence above refers to Trump's supporters who think it is funny that he hideously insults and attacks gays, immigrants, and non-Christians.

Yes, I have 2 children and am a woman not a man. I have told you that before, but you still refer to me as he.

'I guess he can look funny if you are WASP'

Being funny has nothing to do with being a WASP. Trump is funny and likeable which explains his huge support against all the odds. Hillary is not very likeable, I think Trump will be proved to be much more likeable and that is due to his great sense of humour which makes his rallies rollicking events.

'Your hero'

He is not my hero but I want him to win just like the majority of Republicans becuse he will tear through the Establishment class like a wrecking ball.

As Trump himself said

"We are witnessing an incredible movement, arising from the people.

The events of history have aligned to give the people this fleeting chance to bust up the oligarchy – to take back control from the 'Masters of the Universe' return it to the good and decent and patriotic citizens of the United States."

That is why I want Trump to win.

Sorry claig, I don't remember you saying that you were a woman. I assumed you were a man because, well, you sound like one and also because you don't post anywhere else on this site that remotely touches on parenthood issues. Just politics and economy.

"Being funny has nothing to do with being a WASP. Trump is funny and likeable"

You think he is funny because you are WASP or white & Christian - in any case, not in any of the group he attacks and offends on a daily basis. I bet you would not find him that funny if you were Muslim, Mexican, or gay, for example.

Not just that, but also because you clearly don't have the empathy necessary to understand what a horrible person he is to attack minorities in the way that he does. And what a terrible president he would be, as he does not even pretend to work for all Americans if he is elected.

How is a billionaire born to a very rich daddy not part of the "Masters of the Universe"? Confused

Do you make sense to yourself? "Tear down the establishment", indeed. Do you think he will change the political system in the US? No. So what exactly do you think he will do?

I mainly post on In the News and Politics due to the fact that otherwise I would not have any time to do anythng else, but I also occasionally post on AIBU, Education and Chat and I used to spend hours and hours posing on the Women's Rights section back in the days when dittany was on here and sakura and a lot of other posters whom I can't remember anymore because that was several years ago. If I didn't limit my posting, I would end up not having time to get any work done. MN is great, but it is an addiction that has to be controlled.

'You think he is funny because you are WASP or white & Christian'

No, I think he is funny because I love the way he lays into the Establishment stooges like "low energy" Bush. I love his American New York blunt, beash style, I prefer it to Oxbridge. Trump doesn't make jokes or make fun of black people, he makes jokes about and makes fun of the privileged elite class of losers who are ruining America. That is why the crowds roar with laughter everytime he rips into them.

'the empathy necessary to understand what a horrible person he is to attack minorities in the way that he does'

He doesn't attack minorites.

'he does not even pretend to work for all Americans if he is elected'

Yes he does, he says he is a "uniter" and he will win lots and lots of African-American and Hispanic votes and when he becomes President, he will help all Americans to have good jobs and prosperity. The BBC and all the rest of the Establishment media won't be able to fool the people anymore and try to divide them, because it will be obvious that the minorities will like Trump.

'How is a billionaire born to a very rich daddy not part of the "Masters of the Universe"?'

Because if he was then the Republican Establishment and Wall Street and its media would want Trump to be the Republican nominee and to become President and instead they are all bar none petrified of him and are doing everything they can to stop him.

'Do you think he will change the political system in the US? No. So what exactly do you think he will do?'

Absolutely, he will transform the system because he is not "bought and paid for", no special interests control him. In fact there is nothing he enjoys more than a fight and he has insulted nearly every big powerbroker and mogul in America. He will end the lobbyists dictating US policy, he will end the global elite'sfree trade deals like TPP and TTIP, he will scrp the Establishment's global global warming deals, he will rip up all of their plans and bring jobs back to America and get Vicente Fox et al to pay for that Wall.

I think he is going to rip through the elite and put quite a few of them in jail after trials, he will release the 28 redacted pages of the 911 report and he will go after anyone who harmed and tricked America and the American people. That is why so many people are scared stiff of his Presidency.

'but it's certainly shaping up to be one hell of a US election'

You are right, LineyReborn, and if Trump ends up as President, it will be one hell of a 4 year term. Trump held a press conference yesterday at 9 pm to show the American people how presidential he would be. He is going to tear through the Establishment, bring jobs back to America, put America and Americans first and he is going to do it very quickly. He is not one of the usual politicians "all talk no action". He will unite America and bring jobs back for everyone and he will give the global elite such hell that they are already panicking and their news outlets are already screaming "he must be stopped". But you can't stop America and the American people won't be folled and stopped by the BBC, the New York Times, the Guardian, the Economist and Davos, they are taking their country back and te elites are going to get hell.

You have seen our political class and how they pretend to us that they are going to tell Amazon and Google who the boss is in their Parliamentary Sessions where they ask their bosses "how much do you earn?" as if that will change anything.

When Trump takes over it will be a whole new ball game, a Queens New York one, not an Oxbridge Queensbury rules one.

"Donald Trump promises 'such trouble' for Jeff Bezos and Amazon

Objects to Bezos' ownership of The Washington Post. Et tu, Rupert?
...
At a campaign rally in Texas over the weekend, The Donald said “I have respect for Jeff Bezos but he bought The Washington Post to have political influence.”

“And I gotta tell you, we have a different country to what we used to have. We have a different … he owns Amazon. He wants political influence so that Amazon will benefit from it.”

“That's not right.”

“And believe me, if I become President, oh do they have problems. They are going to have such problems.”

The world will have seen nothing like it. Trump will get things done for America and the American people and the great thing it will help us here too because our political class will have to start hitching a ride on the Trump Train instead of pretending and posturing that they could ban him. If we are lucky, maybe we could get some Trumps instead of the bathplug claiming public schoolboy set that we have got.

about the WASP part... white anglo-saxon protestant ... he's more WP than WASP. People in the Western isles are strongly presbyterian so if he has any of that belief system then he's the opposite of Catholic.

But with Scottish island (celtic) and German heritage, there's not much Anglo-saxon about him.

'there's not much Anglo-saxon about him'

Except that he is German and Anglo-Saxon is German.

But the key thing about Trump is, he is not one of the Establishment WASPs, he is not like the Bushes. He is looked down on by the elite WASP class because they think he is a brash, business brawler, not one of their elite cultured class.

To them, he is an embarrassment, a joke, a bully and a buffoon (just like the BBC and our political class portray him). They dislike him because he represents the real "energy" and dynamism and can-do American spirit that made America number one. And he despises them and calls Bush "low energy" and calls the elite class "losers" and says that none of these "all talk no action" politicians could even get a real job in the real economy if that "useless" class was kicked out of their government taxpayer-funded posts. And he intends to kick them out.

Blair steps up at the Global Financial Markets Forum

"Donald Trump’s success is frightening: Tony Blair
...
"Sometimes I look at politics today and wonder if I still understand it," Blair said in a conference interview at the Global Financial Markets Forum in Abu Dhabi.

He added that the rise of social media had helped create "insurgent movements that are often around very polarizing political positions."

"I get really anxious when I think that policy is being made by Twitter feed … Those that shout loudest do not necessarily deserve to be heard the most," Blair said."

"Those that shout loudest do not necessarily deserve to be heard the most," Blair said.

I think he's correct - they don't necessarily deserve to be heard most.

But I see the hypocrisy in the statement too coming as it does from Tony Blair because New Labour was notorious for developing the "we're listening" approach to government which boiled down to "we don't have any convictions about what is right and wrong but we want to be in government, So, if the mob tells us what they want then we'll do it."

'"Those that shout loudest do not necessarily deserve to be heard the most," Blair said.

I think he's correct - they don't necessarily deserve to be heard most.'

Blair sounds like he is not a fan of democracy. He thinks he can determine who deserves to be heard as if we have to ask his permission. The people voted in their droves for Trump. The only reason Blair was constantly heard was because the BBC and the Establishment media always put him on TV.

But now in the age of twitter and social media, the people can bypass the Establishment media and avoid Blair's preaching and pronouncements and decide among themselves whether they prefer Blair or Trump. There is no contest, the Oxford PPE against the business mogul, the coached and on message teleprompted speaker versus the off-the-cuff no teleprompter Trump.

'So, if the mob tells us what they want then we'll do it."

But Blair doesn't say that, he and his cosy clique think they are better than the people. He thinks that not everyone is equal, that some voices are more important than others.

As Trump said in his press conference last night on the subject of the Republican Establishment trying to stop him becoming the nominee, as he pointed out the record turnouts who voted for him

"it is a democracy, right?"

I guess we are going to find out.
