I will stop reading the Guardian now - anyone else like to join me?

This is a spin off from the previous thread about Cologne. What has made me most angry (and many others, I believe) is the refusal of the Guardian and the BBC to deal with it adequately. I can't change the BBC, but I can, and have, stopped reading the Guardian. Perhaps if enough of is said they would do this it might damage their already poor selling figures, and make them listen to ordinary women.
Would anyone else like to join me in saying this?

I will. I liked to read the Guardian as they do interesting articles. The reporting on these sex attacks has infuriated me.
They are hypocrites who sweep women's rights under the carpet. They bang on and on about the rape culture and patriarchy, but minimise and ignore a massive, serious sex attack on numerous women.
I feel the rights of women are being undermined and the Guardian turns away.
Their recent article on Cologne disgusted me. Deborah Orr's article is a bit better but still not great.

I though Deborah Orr was too little too late.
I've decided to now read the Financial Times, which seems to be more balanced, with much better journalistic standards and a lot more news and a lot less comment.

I am disappointed in the Guardian, because I expected better from them. As a general I have ignored a lot of their reporting on international issues anyway, as they are too biased. I still blame them for siding with the Libdems 6 years ago as well.

I am not sure I can go full boycott on them though. I really like some of the contributors and the telly blogs.

I love the guardian but the Opinion prices are often barmy - lacking a good insight into statistics and science
They need someone like Ben gold acre back in there still read but avoid the mad opinion columns
I am ultra feminist but still cringe and some of the fake female issues they raise

I usually read 4 a day plus online articles from press like the Huffington post and nyt. I have up to 4 hours commute a day and a couple of classes a week that I need to hang around at for DS.

I ditched the Guardian years ago. I loathe its shrillness, it's metropolitan myopia and its appalling one-sidedness. It is every bit as biased as the Daily Mail, with a side order of censoriousness and revolting virtue-signalling.

The problem is all the papers are terrible now. Telegraph is like buzzfeed. Independent pisses me off being in an enormous font as if I'm reading ORT (though content usually at Magic Key level).
I refuse to give Murdoch money.

I end up reading spectator, new York times, private eye and LRB.

Private Eye is still good and does proper investigative journalism

Torygraph now just copies and paste most of its articles from the Daily hate (because it sacked 2/3s of its journalists recently)
