It makes me sick to think it, but I fear the worst. I find it hard to believe so many MPs will support the government line when I do not know a single member of the public who sees this as a solution.

I think it will be a yes. I also think that for the government it is a case of damned if you do damned if you don't.
You see if we do nothing and we suffer an attack then people will shout "why didn't you try to prevent this" if we bomb and we suffer an attack people will shout " why did you bomb? We are being punished for your actions".
I would hate to be an MP right now, its a no win situation.

I just think its ridicolous that they are cutting services everywhere apparently to get the deficit down but yet they will spend billions going to war when many countries are actually bombing anyway? I would rather the money pumped into all the services they have cut!

Am watching the debate now. I so hope it's a NO. I've not met anyone in real life who wants the UK to bomb Syria. Not because they're 'terrorist sympathisers' but because it's not going to stop Isis.
