Is anyone else watching newsnight and finding Sandra Howard's nervousness utterly painful to watch?

Why is she on the program - the poor woman is terrified! I've no affinity whatsoever with the Tories, but I almost want to bundle her up and cart her out of the building

It really is excruciating to watch!

Totally agree! Why has she suddenly decided to be a public figure now when she can have a quiet life?

d'you mean Question Time? If not, she's on that too and completely out of her depth

It's QT. Excruciating, and you could tell the audience were cringing too.

Indeed - I do mean question time. Awful!

Even Ian went easy on her - she set herself up a number of times and you could tell he was thinking....just too easy to have a go at.

I haven't watched this but I'm sure I read somewhere that she has stammer.

yes TG - she does have a stammer.

well all credit to her - her stammer wasn't noticeable to me.

I agree HuwE - the stammer wasn't at all noticeable. It was just the 'rabbit in the headlamps' look that was distressing.

Agree, out of her depth, also agree on Hazel being Ms Smug. Loved Shirl though even if she half scared me to death with her premonitions.
