Someone told me earlier that it was at a school (probs best not to name) that I thought was a primary school. Are there actual news reports now?

Surely that can't be right. All so sad, poor woman Sad

Its a secondary school which was deemed as inadequate by ofsted due to behavioural issues.
I just hope this doesn't become a new trend. What is happening to today's youth.

Poor, poor woman. Absolutely horrific.

The name of the school is now widely reported, and confirmed by the police. It's Corpus Christi Catholic College, Leeds and the police statement says the school is now secure, and parents are asked not to go to the school unless called in.

The school is named in the article.

Got the shivers, reading that. Terrifying.

Yes, CC that's what I heard.

I thought the secondary part had actually closed ages ago.

Shocking.

I'm sure it is an impossible situation to manage and I can understand why they want parents to stay away at present but every atom of your being would want to get there. So sad and frightening!

Well there was a report on the news the other day about increasing numbers of knives in schools so while hopefully this kind of attack isn't repeated, it does seem to be a trend in the sociological sense.

Poor woman. RIP
Shocking news,
time, Phillip Lawrence was a headteacher stabbed to death outside school in 1995, so wouldn't really say it's just todays youth.

Some schools already have metal detectors in place, i imagine a fair few more will be rolled out after this. Hopefully schools will get more leeway to expel dangerous pupils. Chances are the child who committed the murder hasn't been a model pupil.
