Just heard on the news that a female teacher has been stabbed to death by a 15 yr old student. This has made me go so cold. That poor woman.

BabeRuthless Mon 28-Apr-14 14:45:17

Awful, awful news. I can't imagine how everyone else at the school is feeling right now.

TheGirlFromIpanema Mon 28-Apr-14 14:45:50

Someone told me earlier that it was at a school (probs best not to name) that I thought was a primary school. Are there actual news reports now?

Surely that can't be right. All so sad, poor woman sad

Morgause Mon 28-Apr-14 14:46:45

Dreadful, dreadful news.

Timetoask Mon 28-Apr-14 14:46:57

Its a secondary school which was deemed as inadequate by ofsted due to behavioural issues.
I just hope this doesn't become a new trend. What is happening to today's youth.

Doyouthinktheysaurus Mon 28-Apr-14 14:47:48

God, what horrific news.

Poor, poor woman. Absolutely horrific.

The name of the school is now widely reported, and confirmed by the police. It's Corpus Christi Catholic College, Leeds and the police statement says the school is now secure, and parents are asked not to go to the school unless called in.

ouryve Mon 28-Apr-14 14:48:46

The school is named in the article.

Got the shivers, reading that. Terrifying.

TheGirlFromIpanema Mon 28-Apr-14 14:49:39

Yes, CC that's what I heard.

I thought the secondary part had actually closed ages ago.

Shocking.

bleedingheart Mon 28-Apr-14 14:50:06

I'm sure it is an impossible situation to manage and I can understand why they want parents to stay away at present but every atom of your being would want to get there. So sad and frightening!

That's horrific sad Did pupils witness this too?

HowAboutNo Mon 28-Apr-14 14:51:07

Well there was a report on the news the other day about increasing numbers of knives in schools so while hopefully this kind of attack isn't repeated, it does seem to be a trend in the sociological sense.

EyelinerQueen Mon 28-Apr-14 14:54:54

Oh good god that is horrific sad .

I'm in Leeds and not too far from that school. The poor poor woman sad .

Fizzybangfanny Mon 28-Apr-14 14:54:59

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution Mon 28-Apr-14 14:56:35

Poor woman. RIP
Shocking news,
time, Phillip Lawrence was a headteacher stabbed to death outside school in 1995, so wouldn't really say it's just todays youth.
