Check on theyworkforyou in javid. He's a banker and a toe-the-party line politician who is very conservative with a small and big C. No votes or interests in arts and culture, but he does like corporate giving....

the move in arts and culture budgets is towards the private philanthropy model seen in America, and he's all about charidee... (As long as the poor continue to have their benefits cuts and the rich don't pay more tax- he voted on both of these issues)

He's just going to be as shit and ignorant as Maria miller was of her post.

And nicky Morgan.... She's no fan of gay marriage which makes her a bizarre choice for equalities minister.

Oh dear.

Javid claimed only last month that Ed Milliband was responsible for Russia's invasion of Crimea. I thought Downing Street would be keeping him locked in a cupboard after that one for a long while!

So is this a sideways move? Or even a demotion for him?

And it appears Ms Morgan will not have the Equalities portfolio. Culture without equality? 21st century UK....
