I read that article; she doesn't come out of it too well does she?

er, I should say not...
that programme always makes me feel so uncomfortable.

she does sound pretty dumb, but you can tell that Decca was going to take some convincing anyway....she's really sticking the boot in

I do much prefer Little Angels, it is so much better. Supernanny is all marketing and buzz

and 'unasseptable' winds me up A LOT

I just enjoy any programme showing several small out of control children. it makes me feel so personally sorted in comparison.

I hate rogrammes like that, they are obscene, all edited to look like the greater good is done.

Of course anyone would sort their heads out with tha much attention.

Ooooooooo they're vile.

I know, and the children are all so madly out of control that any random passer by could help
and I hate that but where supernanny goes away and It All Goes Horribly Wrong

she really does come accross as a bit dim in it? I'm a little relieved she is styled to look that though and not her real choice of gear

I don't hate the programme, think it does have some generalised good tips, I just hate all the branding shit. I thought it was quite refreshing to read a less than flattering interview with a parenting guru!

And I'm coming across as a bit dim with my appalling spellings and typos tonight

an outside influence will have an effect on a child as well, they know what they can get away with with their parents!

I don't like the way her prog goes because she is there telling the parents what to say IN FRONT of children

Whereas Little Angels it is through an earpiece -- much better imho

First time round, I quite enjoyed the show but I really hate the naughty step, it drives me nuts. They seem to introduce it every time and every time I see it, I feel like screaming. I wouldn't dream of ever doing that with a child, it's awful.

yes it really is a hatchet job and I was uncomfortable with the picking on how JF pronounced words and implying that meant totaly stupidity

(even though I've just done it myself )

to me she comes across as a nice person who likes children

i have only ever watched one show and i thought then that the woman was clearly a novice who had never reasearched any actual child behavioural modal.

her "techniques" are as decca say's very confusing. it is very punishment orientated and i certainly wouldn't invite her to my own home.

I do like that fact that she keeps useing the worng word for things...just shows her up fr what she is....someone who applied to an ad for a TV show.

she's had years of experience as a nanny
