No idea.

Some people trapped in the pub apparently.

It will have been busy as well, Friday night, end of the month.
Sad

Oh no, I live not far from the heliport and drive past that pub most days. What a terrible accident.

There isn't much info out there

Report
GoodNeighbour · 29/11/2013 22:59

No, frustratingly little information at the moment.

I have friends who go to the Clutha Inn quite often.

It's on radio 5 at the moment, talking to a man who went to help.

Report
GoodNeighbour · 29/11/2013 23:01

They are talking about injuries, not dead.
Here's hoping.

Bloody hell.

What's the usual closing time in Glasgow - would it have been busy?

Report
FortyFacedFuckers · 29/11/2013 23:05

It's usually a very busy place on as Friday night

edamsavestheday · 29/11/2013 23:05

Oh wow, how horrible. You don't think about helicopters crashing in built-up areas - at least, I hadn't.

Report
JaquelineHyde · 29/11/2013 23:07

They think it is a police helicopter with a mechanical failure.

Report
SantanaLopez · 29/11/2013 23:07

Closing time is midnight normally, but it would have been packed.

Report
GoodNeighbour · 29/11/2013 23:09

It crashed on the roof apparently.

I hope they get lots more people out.
40+ firefighters at the scene apparently.

Mignonette, chances are she's either somewhere loud or with no reception having a whale of a time, doesn't even know what's going on out there, fingers crossed for you x

Oh Mignonette how scary :( so many Glasgow pubs and clubs are in basements, you rarely get phone signals.
