I think "Personality Disorder" is quite correct personally.
The starvation thing when it is being reported that he eats most days etc.
....and so little remorse for what he did.

I think it would be a travesty if they allow him to go into a normal prison where he can starve himself to death.

Personally I don't have any issues at all with having to force feed him and make him live out his days in misery. If it were me, the tube I'd be feeding him with would be a regular garden hosepipe.

I dont think he should get what he wants purely on the basis that none of his victims nor families got what they wanted thanks to him - the evil scum he is.

He should be forced fed and forced to live his days out in misery.

I would hope that his comment on himself and his crimes...

"described himself as a "comparable petty criminal".

When asked about his own crimes and what "value" he got out of killing, Brady responded: "Existential experience."

would bar him from being judged capable of 'ordinary' prison or being sane.

What is so appalling is the level of collusion between him and staff. Totally unprofessional. This was historically an issue with the Forensic 'Big Three' but I thought this had been addressed. Shame on Ashworth to allow themselves to be so manipulated.

YoniMatopoeia Wed 26-Jun-13 00:32:12

do you mean the forensic phsychologists when you say the big three?

And apparently he records porn on his tv all the time. Just how and why is he allowed access to such stuff. I am despairing about this whole situation. He claims his notoriety comes from Saddleworth Moor. No it fucking doesn't. More to do with torturing and recording his victims. Evil bastard.

Can't believe what he was just reported as saying - that the killings were petty and recreational, done for the existential experience. What a hurtful thing to say. Mad or bad, keep him out of sight and throw away the key.

He should not be allowed the oxygen of publicity. Ashworth need to start treating him with a bit more common sense and stop colluding in his manipulations. He is a very sick individual.

mignonette Fri 28-Jun-13 23:41:15

I mean Broadmoor, Rampton and Ashworth, the three Forensic Special hospitals, Yoni

The level of collusion is appalling and shows how unhealthy a place ashworth is to work in. I once attended a three day training course in de escalation facilitated by two Ashworth staff members and they were the most appallingly macho show offs. Swinging their metaphorical big dick-ness around talking up the danger of their jobs, bragging about their patients and demonstrating no real skills in what they were there to talk about. Most of us did not show up for the third day so bad was it.

threepiecesuite Fri 28-Jun-13 23:46:15

I know a few folk who work at Ashworth and it is exactly as you describe. The staff are as mad as the inmates.

Ian Brady . An evil, wicked, self obsessed psychopath . No remorse, no empathy, no nothing .. Make him live and die when his time comes .. His victims had no choice, why should he ?

SilverStreak7 Mon 09-Sep-13 14:42:42

Oops,, should have been comma after live.

ubik Mon 09-Sep-13 14:45:33

Oh I was hoping you were posting to say he was dead.

Never mind

stemstitch Mon 09-Sep-13 14:55:39

He's just a wanker imo. He likes to think of himself as this superior, supremely clever puppet-master, who's got everyone running round after him. He's not, he's just another mad twat.

I don't care if he starves himself to death, I really don't. I don't understand this whole 'Oh he wants to die so let's keep him alive' stuff. What's the point? It's just costing us money. It's all just a game for him to say 'I want to die' because he knows the reaction is going to be 'no keep him alive!' and then he gets to stay alive and keep spewing out his poison. I don't believe he really wants to die - he's having far too much fun.

Completely agree that he should not be given any publicity. It's what he thrives on. The thing that would annoy him the most is if people responded: 'Oh yawn, yes you killed some kids in the 60s. But there have been worse/more shocking murders. You're not special.' He obviously derives massive satisfaction from everyone getting worked up about how evil he is.

Icedink Mon 09-Sep-13 16:54:07

^well said stemstetch! The only reason for keeping him alive was so that he could finally reveal where he had buried Keith Bennett but he obviously has no intention of doing that and its too late for poor Winnie Johnson anyway. He enjoys being in the media imo, I think they should call his bluff and let him get on with it.

Icedink Mon 09-Sep-13 16:54:58

Stemstitch sorry blush

SilverStreak7 Mon 09-Sep-13 17:15:43

He said Keith is buried in Yorkshire , not Lancashire ,, I did see on Facebook last week that Yorkshire Police have ordered two freezers for bodies , , Im wondering if they have found bodies there , , If so I do hope one is Keiths ,, , Too late for Winnie but at least the Lad will get a proper burial at long last . sad

They should tube feed him and make him suffer, and i also believe by publicising this they are given him the sickness he further more cravesangry

stemstitch Mon 09-Sep-13 18:02:20

He's not ever going to tell. It's far too much fun dropping hints and watching people fall over themselves to decipher them.

Icedink Mon 09-Sep-13 20:50:06

The secret over the whereabouts of Keith Bennett's body is the last bit of power for him, he will never give that up but at least he can't torment Winnie with it anymore.

Portofino Mon 09-Sep-13 20:54:26

To be fair, he is old and mad and evil and probably cant remember anyway. He deserves no press time.

Footface Wed 11-Sep-13 15:38:55

I was hoping the fucker had died.

Personally I think they should kill him quietly

BinarySolo Wed 11-Sep-13 19:14:52

I agree that he shouldn't get any publicity. Anyone else think he's rather chunky for someone on hunger strike?

He's a twat who thinks he's an intellectual but he's actually rather stupid. I'm annoyed that taxpayers have to fund his appeals. Obviously doesn't really want to die as there are quicker and more effective methods than starvation.

Footface Wed 11-Sep-13 21:22:27

He doesn't want to die. There should be a media black out on him.
