Well they have up here (in Lancs) - it has been peeing down for hours, the fields are awash and water is running across the roads. Magic.

Will sell you some if you need it down South? (£5 a bucket + p&p)

It's for the poor dried-up sods in the \link{http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4747534.stm\South East} though, moo - they need our buckets.

It was v dry here until this week, my car was filthy - is quite clean now. (Everything dirtier here than normal places because of bleeding cement works)

They can have my rain - I'm perfectly happy to share. Do they want some biting cold wind and hail while I'm feeling generous?

I don't think they want our rain, you know. How odd.

I just don't get it - why don't they just build a salienation plant & suck it up from the English Channel???

We don't need it in this part of 'the south' thankyou very much!!! It's chucking it down and still bleedin' freezing. Mind you it didn't actually start until the chap had come to returf our grass...he's rotivated it and piled the turf in the garage and left 'cos it was too wet!!!!! Looks like the Somme out there! Hope he can come back tomorrow as I'm not sure how long I can keep 3 kids and a cat off it....
