.....after reading some newspaper reports that "she is the one" etc, looking at them i thought, - 'what a lovely couple'.

what do you think? the monarchy are not very popular, for various reasons, but how can you not like this couple, wouldnt they make a lovely King and Queen?

I think they're sweet, she's not that stunning but I think that makes them all the more lovely, if that makes sense.

He is too young to be choosing a partner for life IMO. But I don't know the girl in quetion so I a not commenting on this particular match.

i don't care either way. I met him once and he was a nice lad, deserves a proper life - with none of this nonsense involved in it. Let him get on with it in peace.

They are going to have to wait a bit though, he has just started Sandhurst.

I like them. I met my DH at about the same age, with not much in the way of boyfriends before. They seem to have been allowed to develop together in a natural sort of way, rather than "thou shalt choose thyself a bride". They have his time at Sandhurst as a sort of make or break thing too.

I don't know that I desperately care about them iyswim, but I like the idea of them

They seem a genuine relationship. She is pretty in that affluent jolly hockey sticks way. I think her parents own Party Pieces or a similar company.

Aren't they just seeing each other? They seem young to have the pressure of a potential marriage on them.

It'll be ages before William is king anyway, we've got to get through the reign of good king Charlie and the lovely Camilla first. William will probably have a colourful tabloid history of his own behind him by the time he becomes king, judging by the example of the rest of the royals. Kate may seem like ancient history by then.
