instructions for working (oldish) Siemens oven?

I've just moved into a house with a fitted Siemens electric oven - probably a fairly old model. I can't figure out how to work it.
On the left are 2 dial knobs, one below a clock signal, and showing a crossed out alarm bell with an arrow leading from it round to a clock. When I turn it, nothing happens.
Next to it is a dial knob below two arrows, and there are 2 dials, one with numbers 1-3 and a hand symbol below them, one with numbers 1-? (can't see how far it goes and where it ends...). I can turn the left hand numbers from 1-3, but can't see how you shift on to turning the right hand ones. Nor do I grasp the difference between the 2 dials and the numbers.

On the right are easier dials, for setting the oven (grill, fan, etc.) and the temperature.

All I can seem to do is turn on the light, and an orange light shows up on the oven front. The red light beside it, which seems to indicate whether the actual oven is on, doesn't ever go on, no matter how many knobs I twiddle (no smut). Do you have to set one function before another (time before temp or something?) Or is the oven just not working?

If anyone has an oven like this and can understand my explanation, any assistance would be most welcome.
TIA

Auld, is there a clock on the oven that you may have to set before it can start working? I have a Zanussi rather than a Siemens but if the clock isn't set then the oven won't come on at all.

Thanks Feier, I think that may be it. But the clock seems to be broken; it says 3, showing no minutes.
Gah, I wish I'd tried the oven earlier...but it was so blimming hot I didn't. Now the estate agents may think I knackered it.

Auld have you tried the Siemens website to see if you can download the instructions? They often put them all online. Or call their customer service number?

WFH, I had a quick look but couldn't find anything. The oven is fairly old and I don't know what model it is...
Will try phoning maybe.

I'd phone them in that case. I couldn't work out how to use my blender and then phoned Krups and they were ever so helpful.
