How do you manage to wash your whites and keep them sparkling?

What I've read before on MN is to wash whites with only other whites, and not too hot; because the textiles were bleached originally (not originally white), so too hot just damages the fabric.

I wash mine in Napisan too (non chlorine bleach).

I only every wash mine with other whites and don't do anything else that is special to them.

also dont wash with 'colour' detergent or liquid.

you need a powder that contains optical brighteners (aka bleach)

and drying on the line in the sun helps

You have to wash white clothes in a white only wash. The temperature also needs to be hot - 60 degrees or over. And you need to use a biological power that has bleach in. I use Tesco Bio Powder and school shirts get comments! Doesn't get out the acrylic paint on three school shirts ruined in Design and Tech lately!!
