thinking of you today TMH hope all goes to plan.
i havent read through yesterdays threads so hoping everyone else is ok and all littluns are well.

picked dd up from nursery yesterday and was told she has 2 spots on her neck looking like chicken pox (doing the rounds in her room at the mo). by bed time she had 5 this morning i have counted 18 definate and a few small spots which could be soon.
so we have the lurgy in our house!!

am glad she is ok though in herself. she sat eating croissants at the moment. she is fascinated that she has them and keeps pulling up her top to look.

so as i'm housebound apart from school runs i really have no excuse for not flying today.

i need to
sort dry washing done
dc dressed done
ds lunch done
ds to school done
tidy
hoover
clean buggy
unload washer
load washer
clean bathroom
tidy kitchen
a weeks worth of missions
ironing
wash floors

TMH, thinking of you, your little boys, your mother and your dh. Remembering that awful feeling of wanting to run away before going into theatre and then waking up and feeling completely wacked but peaceful.

Done hoovering upstairs and some cobwebs.
Dcs seem to have made their beds or was it dh?
Laundry in
Laundry hung out
dishes piled next to dw
Breakfast cleared
What's for dinner Asparagus Pasta from yest plan, Dh ate 4 large slices of the tomato and cheese bread yest and didn't want anything else except boiled egg. It was something called Wright's Parmesan and Sundried Tom bread mix.

Invites written and handed out [sort of] dd has carried them off into school which I think is not encouraged.
I was woken by ds1 practising his violin - Hot Cross Buns and more! He has cracked the dreaded fingering and is suddenly enjoying it. Karoake night tonight at school, so he was also practising his Mamma Mia repertoire.

hello dylsmum - good to get chpx out of way at 2. Can be frustrating tho, because the spots last so long.

dylsmum1998 · 27/02/2009 10:08

swan def agree best to get them out the way while she is younger. when i dropped her to nursery yeserday they said there was a total of 9 cases in the nursery and i say jokingly oh good infect her quick lets get it over with. didn't expect it to happen that quick

EV, dress - think it is all what colouring you are. If those complex greeny yellows suit you normally, then think it is a great choice, but on wrong skin tone, eye, hair could look drab.

Report
EustaciaVye · 27/02/2009 11:35

Thanks swan. I have brown hair blue eyes. Skin tone is pinky rather than yellowy which is concern of mine. Plan to try on next week and see.

castello i don't normally do so much hence 5 days worth of missions to do- forced confinement due to dd's chicken pox means that i have no excuse but to do some housework

dd just bought me over a tissue and asked me to get the bogies out her nose, she's tried her finger and it didnt work. bless don't think she understand its because she has a blocked nose

Castella Welcome

Wolf hope all is well with your mum and her birthday.

Picked DS up from nursery he looked whacked. Sure enough he asked to go straight to sleep on the sofa the minute we got home - so unlike him. So i just let him and also let DD have her nap. Given pre school music class a miss today (hate it though - £7 prepaid!) Hoping he is ok. chicken pox also going round at his school. I haven't had it either so you never know.

Have done the minimum today too, just made soup for lunch and washed up

Oh DS has just got up from the sofa, going to go and look after him now. BBL

wendy i know what you mean about missing the classes, i have had to give dd's dinky dancers a miss today, think she would have been ok in herself going, but don't want to infect everyone else.

hope ds is feeling better soon and doesnt get very poorly

i have been ironing for an hour, just having a five min breakm don't want to do anymore but it does need doing so gonna crack on i guess

Afternoon all TMH Am thinking of you and sending you thoughts for a speedy recovery.
Grouchy Thank you for the welcome. It's hard to keep track of everyone yet, but everyone seems lovely.
EHM I have a white board in the kitchen too which can be great, but yesterday I cleaned off 'plant daffs' which I still haven't done . Too late for that now I think.

Had some friends over last night - from DD's post natal group but we haven't all met up much (if at all) since they went to school (now Yr 4). Twas lovely to see them, and it only happened because I didn't procrastinate over organising something (yay! I might be getting the hang of this flying thing!).

And today, haven't actually done any housework, but have cleared out the inside of my car (only done once before and I've had the car 2 years almost). So I'm quite pleased as it's been annoying me every Friday for ages. Now just need to stop procrastinating over the oven .

To do
Fold washing
Ironing
Empty dw
Wash up
But I might just pop to the shop for a few bits instead.

BBL
