Well Dh's school is closed today YAY.
DC's was closed but just heard it may open later , think Ill keep them off though...
older ones have now gone sledging on hill behind house with DH.Littler ones have had enough cold snow! (nuff snow mummy - it's a bit cold snow!)

L&P soup bubbling in pan
about to make banana bread
Seem to have run out o yeast though so no bread machine today

need to do
a bit of washing catch up
Mop floors (later after trapsing in and out of snow has finished!)

Our school is still open - we have some snow here but all the main roads are open so there's no reason for things to stop. Ds was quite happy to be heading out to school so that was lucky
Dd is STILL poorly I took her to the doc yesterday, she was given a good once-over and we came home having been told it was just a virus and she should be back at school today - however she developed a high temp in the night and was hot yet shvery, had weird dreams etc....so poor girl is at home again today. She had a lie-in but is awake now and fairly bright, no temp etc so we'll see how she gets on.

I'm maintaining the house pretty well (haven't been able to go out for a week so I ought to be able to keep on top of it!)
I'm working my way through every cupboard/drawer/hidden place in the house so will continue today....I did dds wardrobe while chatting to her as she woke up this morning..I might tackle the understairs cupboard today (big job!)

I am back and have been given a clean bill of health, so all set for the operation on 27th.

Beasts have been photo'd in 7 positions - very medically - not at all readers wives

Also asked to be screened for MRSA, as it was worrying me and they did

So I can stop worrying for a while, at least until the bloods and MRSA stuff comes back

DH is just sorting lunch for all (Jackets cheese and beans)

Then I will come back and do a list

We've had lovely morning at park with some schoolfriends, although we should have brought some sort of sledging machine.
Feeling still frazzled - don't know why - the children's least complaint, dithering, messing around seems to annoy me. Their loud voices seem to be like piercing sirens..I'm sure they feel the same about me...

Now we are safely back after loads of running around in mud, and snow and no-one is complaining about cold hands or feet so I suppose it's the perfect temp here. They are in nice clean warm clothes/pj combinations watching telly now, waiting for their shepherd's pie. Two friends for dd later.

Ruby I do love arts and crafts too, but it is a battle to get kids started/involved teeth gritting glue-rage and school is now too scared to give us any projects for fear of annoying parents!! We had a kimono debacle in year 2..(ds1).

Ed's ice ball fights were fun. He filled a plastic bowl with icey snow then tipped it on my head
