You're done??? You mean you just started this thread to gloat at us poor disorganized souls....?

Report

No, not really. I took some days off because last year I was in a total mess. Now I'm sure I've forgotten something but I don't know what. I didn't get any new clothes for Ds and myself but I'm rubbish at buying anything last minute. I don't think Ds & DH would like to be dragged around the shops. I feel there is something missing as I don't have lots of family to visit this year. I wouldn't mind helping some Mum out for an hour or two instead of spending money I haven't got.

aw, what a lovely thought starbear... actually, I'm not too badly off in the organization stakes, would just rather have done it all a bit sooner and be enjoying these last few days and having mulled wine and mince pies with neighbours. I am just generally a whirlwind of inefficiency. So, I will take my cue from you and get on with it next year!

reckon eandh could do with a hand though, or maybe AmIWhat.

Lol taht looks a long list but in reality won't take to long (my brother is only 10mins away from me and my parents 5 mins from him) plus I am a control freak who cannot/willnot let anyone help me (although will mutter under my breath about doing everything!)

Well we've had a lazy morning. I made not very nice Ginger biscuits, last night, as I ran out of plain flour and used self raising. I can taste the Bicarb. My Ds thought that the elves came and made them.
List for today
Figure out what to wear for tonight and tomorrow Full wardrobe with nothing to wear (all to small)
DH has decide we will go to a new local cheese shop and buy cheese !!
I've broken a lamp this morning so we might look for two of those if they are discounted.
Lunch and make a fish pie for tonight after church! Put food out for Santa not beer only wine apparently.
Late tonight wrap Ds present and fill stocking, sprinkle flour with glitter around tree
See you all on the other side. Merry Christmas
