well at least it is for me.

I really need to get tidied up here. It's just general mess, exH is coming round for a bit later - and while I'm not really bothered about him seeing it messy these days it would be nice if the boys can actually see/play with him for a little bit without fall arse over tit over the crap that's lying around.

So I need to:

Tidy all the bits off the living room floor
Run the hoover round
Clean computer desk
Put all my stuff that needs sorting out (letters/forms etc) into a pile ready to sort later
Put the few bits in the dishwasher
Empty the recycling bin in the kitchen
Run a duster around
Do another load of washing
Get some dried
Iron (tonight)

I have to

scale Mount ironing (but I can't find my crampons)
Hoover bedrooms and put new covers on bed (my most hated job)
Put at least 3 more washes on
get clothes ready for tomorrow.

Sheesh!!

I love these slattern threads! Makes me feel more at home .

Anyway, I decided today would be a day of domestic stuff but have only so far managed to get the kitchen done.

The biggest problem I have is how to tidy up around DD who insists on trailing me everywhere, dragging all manner of crap out of her bedroom and dropping it wherever she feels like it

I need to:

do a whole basket of ironing, especially the school polo shirts

wash ds1's uniform sweater which I didn't realise was dirty, dry & iron same.

tidy horrendous tip of living room & vacuum

take a shovel to ds2's bedroom (dear God, what has he done in there?)

find where ds2 has inevitably wee'd considering I've let him run around with no nappy on for last 20 minutes, and clear up in appropriate manner.

wash hands from wee.

make mince pies for freezer, having sent DH to co-op for plain flour some 20 minutes ago.
