good plastic/hardwearing childrens cutlery and tableware

Hello

DSs (4 and 18months) have an assortment of plastic tableware, none matches, some with transfers have come off in the dishwasher... want to get something nice, durable, not too expensive. DS2 probably still too young for ceramic stuff. a lot of the melamine things (ie Elmer) is terribly expensive for what it is. in the past I've got plastic picnic ware, but of course now is the wrong time of year for that.

Ideally I'd like a set not in too garish colours, partly for Xmas table (we do often eat together with guests anyway) partly also because they often have friends around

thanks
