Grease Spots on Top

I managed to get over enthusiastic whilst cooking sasusages the other day and have got loads of grease spots over my new top. I've washed it since (obviously) but the spots are still there. What can I do to get rid of them?

Wet the spot, then rub neat washing up liquid into it, then wash in the machine. It works for me.
