Morning TMH

Sorry to hear about the RA Hoep the splints help in some way.

I have a hosp appt today - trying very hard not to get myself anxious about it. I am having a lump on my neck scanned with a view to removing it. Everyone thinks it's a harmless cyst but I'm still nervous in case they find anything more sinister
Dh is coming with me which is a big help.

I will do the mission today and try to do some other basics. I'm not keeping up with FLYing at all at the moment.

Bianca Good luck with the hospital. HBope it all goes OK and do let us know ASAP. I understand the anxiety too

Well

Morning routine done

We are off to softplay, as swimming isnt on and DS2 is a bit snotty and DS1 coughing, so prob a good thing. I am going to treat them to lunch there and take DS1 straight to preschool from it too.

Then DS2 nap and if DH is back from client meeting (working from home the rest of the day) I will take mum shopping and stuff before collecting DS1 from preschool

Good morning (what's left of it at least)

Bianca good luck with hospital appointment, hope everything goes ok!

Mad hope you all had fun at soft play

hello to everyone else!

Well, I've been busy this morning as the kids (including oh again) have pretty much ignored me and played nicely together. We did have one paddy which resulted in a broken toy though so I've told them they either behave or ALL the toys go away apart from a selection I choose for them . . . I feel very mean threatening them but they we're stomping all over everything so if I have to I will just give them soft toys that they can't break

I've done brekky for all, pots washed and away, load of washing done and dried, bin out and brought back in, chiseled the huge lump of frosty icy stuff out of freezer and wiped it down, s&s'd bathroom and kitchen and all sorts of other stuff.

Just thinking about doing J some lunch before nursery & then have a couple of hours with my lo before picking him up. His parents are finally coming down to sort out money/food this evening , . . . . I will believe it when I see it.

Anyways, best go see what they've sent for dinner today & think of something for my lot to have while in the kitchen

Does anyone else ever feel like they spend all day in the kitchen and looking after everyone else, without actually doing anything at all for themselves?? Or is it just me?

Bugger
Lump is not a cyst. They have no idea what it is but it is more solid than a cyst and has it's own blood suppy so removal may be difficult. They want to cut it out asap so I just have to wait for them to contact me.

Feel OK about it, at least I'm in the system now. Just hope it's nothing to worry about...The lady just said "Don't worry too much at this point..." I hate that kind of comment - of course I'm going to worry about it now!!

TheMadHouse · 24/09/2008 18:19

Bianca Hope all is OK and that ASAP is soon.

Boys are all in their PJs and have gone for a trip out in the car with daddy to my mothers to collect some wood, which she keeps complaining is in the way.

I hate my splits

Bargain for all of you with girls fifis garden half price at 12.50

Hi everyone,
I haven't been able to get on here for while and the Flying is still going OKish.
I'm sorry to hear about your mum TMH Bianca they would probably have moved very quickly if they thought the lump was serious.
Have been doing hotspots and s&s laundry & kitchen rescue and DP has been cooking quite a bit and washing up - which is just as well.
Tomorrow and Friday are quite busy, but I hope to come on and put a list on here to motivate me again.
I think I saw a mission today when I read some reminders - was it to clear out under the bed?
I almost fainted!
Just not ready to get rid of my storage boxes full of baby clothes.

BiancaCastafiore · 24/09/2008 18:27

rowing that was waht I thought too. They said they'd be in touch next week. The lump has never bothered me in any way or changed or anything, I only bothered to ask about it cos I had time to kill at the docs a month or so ago...

TMH at your splints x x

Oh well maybe the lump will turn out to be something interested, like something you lost years ago.

Bianca, It could still turn out to be nothing sinister. Try not to worry.

Mad - thanks for the tip. We already have Fifi's garden

My shopping tip is a Peppa Pig playset for £19.99 in woolwirths. Looks great. You get train, park and car.

Did my job apps and headed off to the post office to get them sent.

Bumped into a mum of one of Ed's mates and ended up mooching a bit. Then collect Ed and another friend and his mum came round for a play date/pot of tea. The Boys had a fab time

Quick 1/2 hr turn around to

Spruce up the front room
Make lunches
Empty DW
Put away
Spruce up the kitchen
Spruce up front room
Snack tea for Ed
Clothes ready for morning

Early start for me tomorrow as I'm doing a morning's ETA support at the local Junior school. It's volentary but it pads out my CV and I'll only be bumming round at home.

Ed's mate is coming round tomorrow night too. His Dad is working nights so he he needs to let his hair down, may as well do it with Ed tbh

Have I missed anything?
