Only picked out bits here and there to wear daily. How slovenly is that.

I am doing the ironing today.

First i am going to mow the lawn.

i am currently working myself up to this.

then i have to do my roots, god there really aren't enough hours in a day for me

i think i have been heading for that effie, we just seem to get by on a few bits that rorate in and out of the wash, which makes me wonder 'wehn' did I/dd actually wear any of those clothes that remain in a heap!

tip: put them away unironed. Then you won't notice (and you'll find you can wear most of it without ironing anyway, especially if you fold carefully straight off the line/out of the drier

No ironing for years here either !

Trick is in the VERY tidy and straight hanging up of entirely "no-iron" laundry - oh, and a degree of laissez-faire... I really, really cannot be farking asked. And DH has been ironing his own shirts since he was about 17 so is much better and much faster than me (he has also found reasonably priced local ironing service ).

The only thing that gets ironed here are DH's shirts, and he does them. I would if I were ironing other things, but I have better things to do with my time. I assume that in a years time I will be ironing school uniform, but I find generally, once you have had something on for an hour or so, you can't tell that it hasn't been ironed!

4 weeks backlog isn't bad.

I'm in a good shape right now because I can iron and watch the Olympics guilt-free.

I haven't picked up an iron for 4 years. DP bought one to iron his smart shirts for weddings / funerals and until recently I didn't even know where it was stored.

"Only picked out bits here and there to wear daily. How slovenly is that." - This is how I do the ironing
