Morning TheMadHouse
We HAVE to get out of the house today - the dcs are too full of energy and winding each other up. The weather looks a bit better so a nice long walk this afternoon I think.
DH is home again and I can never seem to get much done while he is here but the plan is...
Ironing
15 mins upstairs
15 mins downstairs
mission (In fact all this weeks missions in one go when I clean the bathroom)
Washing

Morning all

Have a good weekend EV

Bianca I have been instructed by my DD1 to let your DD know about this

It is her new craze!

Well weather still not great here today so I think it'll be another indoor day. We went to a soft play area yesterday as it was raining here....got into town and the sun was shining brightly!! Typical!
We seem to have our own little micro climate here in the village....I am sure it is because we are up in the mountains.

Anyhoo...hope all are well

Hello.

Sorry about long absences.

I have a new keyboard, as dp left ds unsupervised , allowing him to remove all the keys from my old one., and then lose the vital (tiny) bits of plastic which make it work when you put the keys back!

We are very busy doing holiday things. I have given up totally on trying to stick to any routines at all. We are off out in a bit again today

I have one more week to try and tidy up, then we go away for a week.

LML DD1 loved Club Penguin, to the point where I even paid for membership for her for a few months.
She still uses it now, but not enough to keep paying.

Hi Jas you have had a busy school holiday
Where are you off to for the week?

My DD1 has not long discovered Club Penguin....her boyfriend (aww!) introduced her to it the other day.
I don't think I'll subscribe really, they seem to be able to do plenty on it as it is.

morning

well, we're all ready to get out and about this morning (although it may be afternoon when we get out at this rate!) Lo is being a pita because she didnt sleep well last night but hopefully will have a nap in her buggy.

TD on because oh took washing line down again the other day n i can't reach to put it back. & I've paid all bills this morning. Just about to finish pots before we head for the shops and then this afternoon probably wash the entire contents of my airing cupboard which are starting to smell funny after the water tank flood the other week.

Other than that not a lot planned for today apart from going out later for 'happy hour' at the chinese restaurant at the end of our street, all you can eat for £5 each and it's scrummy!

hope you've all got some better weather today and aren't stuck indoors with over enthusiastic kids! ttfn xx

afternoon all

we had a lovely if very long walk to the shops with lo as we decided to leave the buggy and take her to the park on the way. Only needed bits as well this week so more than we thought left over for our night out this evening.

Since we got home I have cleaned the espresso maker as it desperately needed it & I love a cappuccino every now n again. Have washed a load out of airing cupboard and oh has put washing line back up so its drying now and had a quick tidy up in bathroom which is always a mess with oh around!! Just off to have a quick tidy upstairs in-case mil decides to put lo to bed tonight before we get back and put away some washing that should've gone away yesterday

Hi everyone
hope you are all well or getting better.
Biglips I hope your LO turns around like a good baby.
Ruby I just read yesterday's fly and I was laughing because I was replying to Bianca about shutting the annoying boy in the cupboard (not that I would advocate that [shakes head]). Now nobody knows what I'm talking about.
The outlaws came and went yesterday and we had a really nice day, until my employers phoned at 5:15 and reminded me that I was supposed to be at work. I had forgotten that a couple of months ago I agreed to cover annual leave. So that was an interesting end to the day.
Didn't manage much flying last night, just fell asleep.
Today DP left for the weekend and my mum and nan came over for the day, so didn't manage much flying.
Also feel a bit bad because I didn't get out for my run and I'm at work tomorrow.
Think I will start week one again next week, but this time plan properly.
Anyone else fancy starting week one of the plan next week?
Lucys I can tell you about cloth nappies, if you still have that on your list.
cafe what's on day 4?
I'm on day 25 - but have been having a babysteps break for a few days. Somebody on the flylady forum said you didn't have to do a step each day, you could take a few days to get used to one or whatever. This sounded appealing to me, so there have been a few breaks.
I was laughing at today's step, it was the bit about her husband here I just could not imagine my DP ever, ever doing anything like that.

rowingboat throw as much info at me as you possibly can!! She's 18mo but always constipated n leaves skids on her nappies then wants changing because she's uncomfy! So, I thought maybe, invest in enough cloth for through say 2 days and wash every 2 evenings so that we're not spending money wasting disp nappies that are perfectly useable apart from tiny skids if that makes any sense?

Plus I wanted to use them anyways but never had the money when she was born to do it so obviously could save some money when we have lo number 2 next year (been discussing over tea tonight) very romantic i know but thought now was as good a time as any to let oh know i'm ready for another baby and test the water so-to-speak

have done this evening: nothing

mil did:mop kitchen
put lo to bed
wash few pots there were
hoover living room

& we had a lovely evening together for a change so all in all a fab day!

hope you all had a good one xxxx

Evening

Rowing What do you do? Apart from being a fab mum and wife - obviously

Lucys Have you tried upping her water intake re the constipation? DS2 has had bowel issues since birth and we manage his constipation with diet most of the time.

We tested the TENT and it is so great. I am getting excited now for Friday - yippee

We have also popped the washer on and tidied in preparation for the weekend.

Evening all.
We had a fab day out yesterday. The sun shone all day. Not a drop of rain. Amazing! We did miss the bus from Crealy and had to risk going in friends car with DD2 on my lap. It was only a 20 min drive to the station luckily. We made it with seconds to spare. Really stressful end to the day but DC haven't stopped talking about it.
We had wrist bands so we can return for free within a week if i can afford train and bus again. And if the bands last on our wrists that long. Invalid if they are removed or get ripped.

I need to get all their school bits soon too. I am so pleased DD1's shoes still fit and aren't too warn out. She can have new in a few months. Saves me a few quid.

Hope everyone is ok. Chilly here tonight but at least it has been a warm sunny day for once.

Lucys let me think about it, I'm just trying to think of intelligent questions to help you decide how many. Unfortunately, not feeling very intelligent at the minute. Have you tried any cloth nappies at all? You might have an incentive to help pay for nappies in your area or a free or subsidised trial pack from your council, or have you checked that out?
If you haven't this website should tell you what's available locally.
TMH thank you! Apart from all the fabulousness, I work in a library. I bet you thought I was going to say I was a lap dancer or something - all the late nights. LOL!
cafe did you do any post-its? You are obviously a lot more sensible than me, I kept coming on here asking people if dressed to shoes included tracky bums and a sweatshirt. Got a bit confused about whether to put on make up as well, you know, if you don't like to wear it all day. You will be on day 25 in no time at this rate. Good going!

Dyls We went to the Devon one. DD1 now wants a pony too. She has been desperate to ride a pony for ages and yesterday her dream came true. DD2 was the only one not keen on the log flume. We did that twice.
