Ok so if i go and hire a rug doctor, how heavy are they? Am i going to be able to do this at 6 months pg? Yes i would like to get someone else to do it but there isnt plus cant afford to hire someone.

Its to get rid of stains in front room but figured i could get rid of a couple of stains upstairs too, are these any good for stains? Dont want to waste the money

I rent one fairly often and find them pretty effective on general child-related spills and tea stains etc, plus we have a log fire in one room and the carpet was black by the end of the winter and that came up like new. They are really easy to use and not too heavy to push at all, but you might need some help lifting it in and out of the car. I used one heavily pg (we were moving house) and was fine.

do they come with extra bits at all? I mean for using on stair carpets? Wondering if i could do the sofa with it? Also how long does the carpet take to dry?

i rang a place near me who have them and he said it was £19.99 plus the shampoo costs.. i said it was mainly for stains and he was going on about something you spray on and scrub in then take off... the traffic line cleaner so does that mean i need to buy that aswell as a shampoo?? confused
