My wings failed - I can't even fly any more!

Having said "any more", I don't actually think I ever flew!

Anyway, my plan to get on top of my house at least partly as I have guests on Friday and it's a "how clean" state again

This is my plan:

Today: living room floor - throw rubbish, pick up dishes that live in kitchen, sort shoes and everything on the floor that should be somewhere else. Totally clear it - hoover.

Wednesday: sort kitchen, clean fridge freezer out , do washing up and tidy sides. Mop floor.

Thursday: move washing upstairs from bath; sort gradually. Clean bathroom.

Friday: titivate anything left ready for evening guests.

Does that sound good? More importantly... Can I do it?!!

oh I forgot: Friday, clear settee and chair so guests can sit down!

I think that sounds like a reasonable plan to get on top of it all!

I always find it helps to break it down inot small achievable jobs rather than just think "oh god I have to clean and tidy the house", and that's what you've done!

Good luck, keep us posted here on the progress!

Today is the frst day of my maternity leave, so I know I should be relaxing but I have got lots to do/organise/ sort before the baby arrives. Shall we check in later aand see how we are doing?
Today I aim to:
Put away 2 week worth of ironong (DH is an angel and ironed for 2 hours last night)

2 lots of washing

Change sheets on DD bed

Wash sink full of dishes

Pack hospital bag

Sort out 2 huge boxes of things that have no home and have been moved from one place to another.

How are you getting on Lewisfan?
I have done the washing, washing up and put the ironing away.
Going to aim to do one of the boxes in the next hour or so.
Hope it is going well

oh well I've tidied the floor - nearly done it all... been struggling with my head a bit today so doing SOMEthing is progress.

I'll do a bit more soon and finish it when DS is in bed; I have only got under the window to tidy and then by the hearth; then hoover.

This is from not being able to walk on or see the carpet this morning..!
