Thanks, but I'll sleepily pass on the mission.

Oh, I've done a shift in my local pub, and it takes my ages to wind down, dyl.

It's soooooooooooo busy in there on a Thursday night.

But I sleep like a baby, generally. Insomnia is a terrible thing.

When you've got organisational things on your mind, as you have, that's when the trouble starts.

It will pass. No doubt you'll fall asleep at 5.22am and get a good hour

i finally got off at 2.30 , dd woke up at 5.30 i'm weeing mummy unfortunately was still in her bed. bless she has done really well we had 10 consecutive nights dry. last night she didnt wee before she went to sleep or wake up at 2 for a wee (she normally does both) so by time she woke was prob to busting to move quick enough bless. i stripped her off and we went back off til about 6.45 when her dad text me

i've had plumber in this morning to change bath taps back to the sort we had before and someone to tighten the loose plug sockets etc. have done a quick tidy and hoover through before they got here so its not looking to bad. i'm just gonna pack dd's bag then we're off to get our hair cut.

oh and my washer is finally being fixed on tuesday afternoon

Morning all

Weather awful here. Got dd1's sports day later this afternoon. Probably get postponed. Always the way...lovely weather all week then rain on the day of an event.

How is everyone today?

So far I have managed to get one lot of washing done but hung up indoors due to t/drier being banned and rain, have done veg for tea tonight, hoovered downstairs and done general tidy up. Got to hoover upstairs before I go back out at lunchtime and feed my dog who is clearly much better because she's back to scrounging for food!

Ed at home today as the school has an INSET day. Was going to have a PJ day but Ed's school friend came round and we ended up playing Jitterbugs and Manic Martians.

As a result I had to get dressed

I'm going to take Ed for a Pub Lunch at 3ish (Neither of us drink tho ) then to rugby training then to Tesco then Ed to bed and Mum n Dad time.

I'm going to do some fine motor skills stuff with him before all that tho

So that's my Friday sorted. Hope you have a good time whatever you get up to.

Oh we've got Jitterbugs...it drives me mad especially the noise! .. and why is it whenever my kids get that game out all the bugs are tied up and I spend an age undoing them all?

Good morning ladies.

Checking in from work, so shan't be doing much around the house today, but I did clean a corner of the bathroom which has been neglected for far too long, before coming out

Tonight I will either be filing or prepping for painting - the entire house needs redoing! So it's either the hall, the kitchen or the downstair loo this weekend. (Painting is much more fun than filing papers, isnt it?!)

By the way (from a Flylady newbie) What is S&S. Sounds vaguely naughty!

Right, end of coffee break. Have a good day, all.

The psych...well it seems that Ed is great academically but his motor skills are lacking, immature in fact. He has difficulty doing small stuff and writing/drawing. Ive got a thread in Special Needs asking for advice.

There were suggestions that the Occupational Therapists be involved

I felt like they thought I 'hot house' him and don't give him playing opportunities and keep him stuck in front of the TV or PC. I felt I'd failed him.

But I've left him to get bored and he has found something to do so that's something to report to his mentor

Room clearing is going well. Put lots in the loft.
Had a man turn up to clear gutters and he also needs to put some insulation in the loft!! Ha Ha i wish him luck! He has done the gutters and stopped for lunch. He asked if he could wash his hands, so i sent him round back to the outside tap! Is that really awful? Just too much stuff everywhere to let him through the house.

room for a stranger? I am afraid I don't recognise all of the names though....in any case Hello to all.

I am baby stepping again, on Day 2, so I think I should be tying up my laces - except I am wearing sip on things .

My sink was gleaming shiny this morning. Then DP went out and bought a new dish drainer thing which I think is going to be a mare to keep clean. Ho hum.

Oooh, hello Slightly. I'm new and on day 2, too. It's good to know that there is someone just beginning here too. (Some of these oldtimers have been flying for 2 years!! How tidy must their houses be!)
