on tring to clean up a coir mat, some bitumen (sticky tar like gluey stuff) has got on my hands, and worse than that, on my 1930'3 tiled porch floor.
have tried to wipe it, and have bloody well smudged it and made it 100 times worse.....

i'm sooooo furious with myself.
how can i get it off please?

Petrol definitely works but keep doors and windows open so the fumes don't build up. Only use a little.

hi! only just saw this...thanks for asking!

dh of course had no fuel in the can, so not tried petrol...have tried millions of other stuff and its not bloody moving......

its in the sun all the time, which keeps it sticky, and stops it from hardening....am hoping in the rain today, it'll harden up, and i may be able to scrape it off......or chip it off....

hmmm. we'll see....
