Best way - or thing to use - to clean DVDs when DC have been touching them with their sticky fingers

Wash them. That's what I do. No soap, just a little warm water does the trick usually.

Really? I was thinking water on them wouldn't be the right way to go.

Do it all the time. Loads of icky fingers here...

If they scratch them then it doesn't fix though.

Hi,
I spoke to someone at an excellent Audio centre near to me recently he suggested I clean with window/glass cleaner.
I did, seemed fine

You cant beat plain washing up liquid wiped off with a soft cloth - hasn,t failed so far.

Soapy water here too.

We have had too many discs scratched to hell by our monster DS, that we copy the discs when we buy them and put the copy in the original case (so it is easier for the DCs to choose which film they want to watch). The originals get locked away where DS cannot reach.
