I am proud that I have learned to make curry from scratch and that I took DD for her pre-school booster injections and didn't want to thump the nurse for hurting my baby

Lol Donbeam. By my reckoning you donated about £1.84 to charity. Why that amount?

Resting your bum on the computer will do no good to either b or c, whatever it looks like.

I am proud of walking to the butcher's and back in the rain this morning - at least 3 miles round trip and came back with enough meat for the next few days. I don't think that makes me a particularly lovely person but it is environmentally friendly, got a job done, supported local business, gave me some exercise and social contact with my friend who also came with her dog.

I went running this morning, even though it looked like rain, I got off an important letter that needs to go urgently, I've started my tax return, and in the process done my filing, and fixed the printer, done 3 loads of washing, and batch cooked low-carb lunch for next 4 days. Am off to cycle to do my errands, then do 2 hours help at school.

And tonight I'm going out for dinner

charity is charity elasticwoman, not to be sniffed at, i could have bought a snickers bar AND a crunchie for that £1.84. so i make no appologies, ps dont talk to me about charity, im still smarting from my nspcc thread.

Sorry Donbeam I see I did not make myself clear. Lol was for your thread as a whole esp does my bum look big ....

Re charity: not sniffing, just wondering why you chose that amount which is not a round figure and not a round percentage of the whole either. Charity is greater than faith and hope, so says St Paul, and I applaud it.
