the bath i think is cast iron enamel..its very old but we cant yet afford to replace..i have squirted bleach round, but hwere the bleach drips and runs, those bits are bright white..i do it agin to try and fill in the spaces so to speak, but doesnt quite work?...i have scrubbers and they help but not perfect..i know it WILL go white as its got stripes now...but how do i get it all white??...and i cant fill bath up with bleach/water cos it will only go as far as plus then top rim is off colour!?????

well don't sue me if it goes wrong but apparently clinomyn (smoker's toothpaste) works wonders on stained enamel baths.

ooh does it?..the bleach on top of bleach on top of bleach kind of worked, much whiter but still a 'little' stripy?..will search for that when shopping tomorrow night!..so what is it a powder? do i rub it on and leave or scrub or just rinse off?
