So tmw I will have to go and get another kitchen bin and compostable bin liners. Clues as to who does them please and has to be either Tesco, Asda, Sains or Waitrose.

Sainsburys do them. About a month ago they had free bins when you bought the bags, but that might have stopped now.

Hi

Yes, I got the free bin and have set it up today. Is half full already. Now have a small swing bin for non recyclables/compostables and a bigger bin for food waste and cardboard. Also got compostable bin liners and were very at the price of them.

I never use any bin liners, I have my green bin and blue bin outside my backdoor, next to my back gate and just scrape plates etc straight into it, then dp hoses it out when it has been emptied.
Dont have any bins in our house now, which I quite like tbh.
How are things going with the ^rules* NAB??

TBH that would drive me mad having to go to the front door every time I needed to put something in the bin!

The kids take great pleasure in reminding each other of the rules and then the other says "no telling tales!" Have been monkeys these last 2 days but I feel in control.... Thank you for asking.

when they say compostable it aint quite true. My ones are still there 18months down the line. i now use compostable to collect the stuff in in the kitchen but then empty the contents in the compost and throw away the liner

if tis small you might get away with Nature Baby compostable nappy bags from Waitrose, which are cheaper

Thats the thing NAB, it depends where your bins are, mine are right next to my kitchen door, which tbh, is the room I'm always in when I need to bin stuff.
I'm pleased tis working for you

Each bathroom and bedroom has a bin in it and downstairs just the kitchen and little loo but it is too far from the kitchen to the back door!!
