Housekeeping

Wish me luck, I'm on a cooking and shopping strike!

Have decided that enough is enough and I am fed up doing all the cooking and shopping plus most other things around the house. I work part time and DH works from home, so there's no reason why we can't share it. I don't actually mind shopping or cooking, in fact I enjoy it, but I just want him to actually think about the organisation of our life!! Hopefully after the week he may appreciate what I do

So, looks like I am going to be hungry and/or probably heavier as can imagine there'll be lots of cobbled together meals (this is the man who makes himself pasta with a tin of beans for his lunch)

Its now 19.50. He says he's making roasted veg and grilled chicken (so far so good) but nothing is even prepared yet and I don't think he has a clue how long it'll all take!!

Here we go!

Did you get anything to eat last night then?

At 9.20 yes!! Tbh it was very nice! He's let off the hook tonight as I ate out at lunch time. We are rapidly running out of fresh things and he knows we are, so whether he gets himself to the shops we'll have to see!! He has also commented twice that DS is running out of nappies so am hoping he will get some more ( I do have a secret stash in the car that he doesn't know about!!!)
