I am going to bump this thread before I dress ds, in an attempt to distract attention from the fact that my first attempt at starting todays thread had no title

I would also like to apologise for all the missing letters in my posts. I seem to type quite quickly and this (very cheap) keyboard doesn't always keep up with me)

Also have to take the DDs to a baby and toddler music group this morning and DD1 starts ballet this afternoon . She looks so cute in her kit!

Plus errands to do: drop bag off at charity shop, prescriptions from docs and chemists, pick up new chopping board from kitchen shop.

BigBeeristheBigBeer · 11/09/2007 08:12

I have TONS of fridge magnets: all the letters in the alphabet, all the numbers up to 10, plus 2 fish and a giant Mr Sneeze.
Don't you?

I read Let's Go Home Little Bear to DD1 and realised I hate that book! It's so dull, what actually HAPPENS? So I thought it was time for a name change.

I've done my entire morning routine except for dishwasher and washing machine (which will be done when I got off here)

And...NEWFLASH...I caught DH wiping up crumbs next to the toaster AND putting away a bottle opener that was on my nice clear worktop. He knows about FLYLADY but said "Don't laugh at me, when it is clean and tidy you notice when things are out of place and feel compelled to put them away^

Beer - pmsl @ the fridge magnet dusting
FGS - well done you for getting dh on board. My dh just looked at me as if I was a nutter when I said that a lady on the internet tells me what housework to do. Come to think of it, it does sound a bit odd .... He has noticed that the house is in better order though, so I don't care if it is a bit nutty, it's working for me.

Today I have done:

up & dressed not to shoes
stripped bed & cot
ds up & dressed
night clothes for ds ready
breakfast & clean up afterwards
unload/load d/w & put on
1 load of washing out on line
2 loads of washing in now

I'm going to play with ds for a bit then :

Make beds
Clean bathrooms
S&S living room
put laundry away
sort my clothes out & pack. Dh has told me we only have 15kg between us - told him I could pack that weight in shoes!

I have also put post it notes up for mum so she can find stuff while she's here(yeah, ok that is a bit odd, I admit). It's in the hope that it'll stop her rooting through everything while I'm away. I know it won't work though.

Have a good day all.

I said to my mum recently, "the Fly Lady told me to sweep my porch today" and she went all pale and terrified looking, and I could tell for a brief minute she SERIOUSLY thought I was hearing messages in my head from an imaginary, hallucinatory half-woman half-fly type thing .

Hi All

Back from Toddler Group, kids are fed and in bed and I have cleaned the dining room table and floor.

I have prepared chilli for tonights dinner and also savory mince for tomorrows lunch.

As MIL is in hospital I am feeding DH's Gran too so I have popped some spare in to freezer foils and will be droping that rounder later.

I have brought in the wasing, need to iron it and also done todays mission - yippe I am FLYing - he he he

Just got back from ballet. DD1 looked soooo sweet skipping around the room.

Am impressed that you have won your DH round FGS.

Mine still hasn't noticed even tho the place is so much cleaner and Cupboards of Chaos have become organised. I now clean the kitchen and bathroom every single day and he can't tell! He notices clutter though, so soon SOON surely he will notice!

My routine is the best thing about flying and is really starting to work for me (now DH has been packed off to work).

The best thing is getting me and the DDs washed and dressed and hair done before coming downstairs in the morning. DD's hair is always a battle and getting out the way first thing is great.

ROFL @ bigbeer I can just imagine the look on your mums face!!! and visions of a weird half fly half human thing ordering you to clean your porch lol!! {{You must clean all the spiders awaaaayyy!}} LOL!

All your routines and lists are looking great...I have been slipping big time I had a nightmare week last week, and this week isn't fairing much better!!!

DD1's B'day tomorrow (she's 6 ) She is having the day off school (along with DS who is having the morning off nursery) and we have bought a bouncy castle. It is DS's 4th b'day then on Saterday...so it is a joint pressie.
I am way more excited than the kids will be!!! I want to get it out and bounce on it (except I'm too big )

Anyway, as usual, I'm playing catch up.... I have to cram a day's FLYing in now before I go to bed...

Anyway...well done you lot

Oh....and the best thing for me about FLYing...
Well it has to be the routine too....
I am always on top of the washing these days as a load goes in every morning without me having to even think about it. (Infact I even managed to do that today)

Just saying a quick hi (and to bookmark this thread for tomorrow).

Hectic day...I have some lovely photos of my kitchen to put up if I get time after DDs are in bed so you can see my lovely hard work FLYing (NOT!!!).

Anyway, not read thread properly but best bit for me would be appreciation of the fact I can get stuff done in 2mins here and there and that I don't need to set aside a whole afternoon to clean the kitchen.
