I have just had a new kitchen, had integrated oven and hob and fridge, not washer and put freezer in garage to make more room in kitchen,
suprisingly found 'sainsburys' on line! were cheapest and best range for appliances!

Can you easily buy units to accomodate one?

the only tip I got when getting an integrated d/washer was NOT to get one that beeps (like a mad thing) when it has finished - because if you put it on at night it then wakes you up an hour later.
Ours is an integrated one but with a stainless steel strip (about 2 inches) deep along the top with the controls on.

Hi we just had a new kitchen and chose integrated.

We have a integrated eye level cooker and a integrated micro/cooker above that in a unit. Then we have a dishwasher and washing machine integrated. The cooker and micro is neff and the washer and dishwasher Bosh.

Your probably better off just looking at one appliance magazine and then searching the web for offers and the ones youve chosen. I got confused having too many brochures. We got all our appliances from MFI as at the time they gave us the dishwasher free with the washing machine and 25% + vat off the cooker etc so they turned out cheaper than buying from the web.

Btw your doing the right think by going for ceramic hob. Ours is gas and a nightmare to keep clean!

We are having a new kitchen installed and we have found Gorengi the best for intergrated appliances, we aew having everything intergrated and have found this range very resonable. Gorengi is not a "common" household name but they make "smeg" etc but also sell things under there own name, Gorengi. If that makes sense.

We got our integrated dishwasher from Habitat - they regularly do 20% off weekends - and the dishwasher is sooooo quiet. I never know when its on or off! I think its a whirlpool.
Got the integrated double oven from them as well - everyone elses had a teeny top oven (grill only really) - but thats the oven I use most - not the big bottom one - so the Habitat one was more generous on the top. Got the integrated fridge freezer from MFI - just check that you can buy the same split on your doors though. We got a 70/30 split f/freezer but Howdens only do a 50/50 split door. Fancy footwork from the joiner sort of solved it - but not ideal.
My last ceramic hob from MFI - all the numbers rubbed off when I was cleaning.

I had a belling double oven that was fab.

here

I also had this dishwasher which was bloomin expensive (DH nearly died when he saw the price) here

It broke my heart when we moved and sold it to our house buyer, especially as our new kitchen is scummy and needs doing up. I have told DH i will be having the same dishwasher again though....am saving the child benefit already for it!!!
