Does Floor Tile Paint exist.........& more importantly does it work?

Cos my utility room is a bit scruffy & I can't afford to retile the floor

A beige/cream floortile would be fine

Any suggestions?

B&Q and Homebase stock "International" floor tile paint - I'm doing my hall in cream tomorrow morning. It's around £12 for a smallish tin, I think.

Agree with shrinking Violet. I bought some red stuff, sanded down the old (red) front door tiles and painted over. it looked great but does need to be done every year.... comes in a small tin but goes quite a way...

Well I could cope with doing every year (or so - assuming indoor utility will be worn less than outdoor front step)

Local B&Q & homevbase don't stock it

Having a rethink

did you check in amongst the specialist paints (metal, blackboard etc)? That's where it tends to get tucked away (plus the staff don't always know what stuff they stock )

Yep - they only have red

Grr. Annoying as have seen it in other colours. Will have a think....

there's plenty of other colours in Sevenoaks Homebase and Croydon B&Q, none of which are helpful to you unfortunately. Would one of your DIY places order you in a particular colour? Do places do that anymore? Or do you have an independant (old fashioned) hardware shop nearby?
