He's having you on. It's not possible to iron a sheet unless you have a room with a big sheet ironing machine like in hotels.

Yes I do, although if I am changing the bed and don't have a sheet in the cupboard, then I will take one off the ironing pile and use it un-ironed. I don't have fitted sheets or duvets though - if I did, I probably wouldn't bother.

i LOVE sleeping in ironed sheets, but as i am far too lazy to do it myself, the only time i get the chance is when we stay in a hotel.

No worries, ironing is one of the things I don't mind doing - well, not as much as other things, and it has to be said that going to bed between ironed sheets is one of life's simple pleasures.

But I am not a neat freak by any means, or a clean freak either. My bathrooms regularly don't get cleaned for a month and the kitchen never gets done, and there isn't a clear surface in the house!

Yes, I do. Gorgeous quality cotton sheets, freshly washed, dried outside and then ironed are of the real luxuries of life!

I actually think ironing sheets is therapeutic! Better than ironing shirts!

portonovo, they do sound lovely, but still can't muster up the motivation... Now, if someone else were to do it for me, that's a different matter... Mind you, I can't say I've ever noticed whether sheets in hotels were ironed or not.

I take mine to the nice lady at the local launderette who charges only £1 per item and they come back folded, crisp and clean looking.
Also makes it easier to make the beds I find...
