Been up since 6am with DD2 but bizarrely I feel ok. I've decided to start making this my wake up time and stop trying to delay until 7 and then be pissed off when it doesnt happen

D/W unloaded, kitchen cleared and we've all had breakfast. About to go and load w/m and clear kitchen.

Wednesday is upstairs day for me so when DD1 is at preschool I'll tidy, hoover & dust everywhere and then work on the bathrooms a la fly.

I agree re the erly start. It's much better to just get used to it and enjoy the occasional lie in(when did 7am get to be a lie in???????) than be stressed at the start of every day.

Empty kitchen bin

I am so proud of myself though as I have done two lots of ironing recently. I am not doing it daily YET but I am doing it more frequently

I too have given up on the waiting till 7am to wake up - it's much better if you count it as a treat when/if a lie-in does happen. My two have taken to sleeping till 7.15ish these past couple of days now we're back to school but my body clock still wakes me at 6.15 . Still, I manage to get lots done while the house is quiet so it's not bad really.

~s&s kitchen done
~td towels done
~wm on done
~make beds done


Will be back with the list for the rest of the day later, and will keep you all up to date with any news from Tortoise

S&S'ed our en suite bathroom,
S&S'ed downstairs loo,
taken some stuff from the bottom of the stairs to the top ,

Darn i have been up with the boys since before 7am and all i have done is give there breakfast and made myself cup of tea followed by sitting down to the pc

To be fair i dont know what the plan is for today as i have to go round to my dads and do his iorning for him and some brisk cleaning.

As for my home loads of iorning to do and sort put away clothes.
Tidy bed rooms and do bathrooms. Hmm maybe i should go put the kettle on and think some more

Welcome FloatingLikeALeadBalloon - take a photo of the Easter Bonnet. Pick something off it - a flower or something. Then stick the 'thing' to the photo (so DD knows it was important for you to treasure) and then ditch the bonnet

I'm on a roll today after lots of wagon-falling-off. Have tidied DDs room ready for dust & hoover later. Also brought some washing up from upstairs and put it in the d/w

Back from school, so this is my list:

Washing to be hung out
Bathrooms cleaned to fly lady's standard!
Hoover and sweep
Breakfast dishes to be done and general tidy all downstairs.

Most probably will do more as will look at something and think that needs a tidy.
