Several stages....scoop out as much water as you can and scrub with a scouring pad and cream cleaner for as long as you can be bothered. Pour in a bottle of cola (cheapest own brand) and leave for as long as you can.

Repeat.

It WILL work eventually. hardest bit is preventing others from using it!

try 2 Harpic power plus tablets, leave over-night. They seem to shift anything.

You don't need to scoop water out, just get a cheap loo brush and 'push' the water down the U-bend, then lots of Harpic.

Tip caustic soda down the loo. Its nasty stuff so make sure little ones are around.

Harpic the black one, it works under the water in the bowl.

Younwill need:
An empty water bottle, preferably one with a little spout like evian
A bit of white vinegar.
Bottle of gin
Loo brush

Method:
Squeeze water bottle so the air is pushed out, submerge spout into toilet water, release bottle somit sucks up the water, empty into a sink. Repeat till empty.

Pour in white vinegar

Drink gin for a few hours whilst white vinegar works.
Then give a scrub with loo brush.
Repeat as necessary.
