Aware that this will sound the most middle class rant ever, but anyway... I've just had a visit from a cleaner who really didn't speak much English at all - she didn't understand when I asked if she was ok after showing her what she needed to do or when I asked what her name was! I went out to let her do her thing and came home to find that she hadn't even hoovered. She also left the dishes on the rack rather than putting them away, so that's 2 basic jobs that I've just had to do myself. This is the 3rd cleaner the agency have sent and this is fairly typical. Old cleaner used to put dishes in the dishwasher rather than wash up, but wasn't allowed to put the dishwasher on because of agency insurance. So annoyed. Can anyone in SW London recommend an agency? Please give me an idea of what your cleaners do so I know I'm not just being picky.
