Just had my oven cleaned

It looks like new, even the grill pan (which I could hear him labouring over!)

So, um, what should I have been doing before can I do regularly now to prevent it becoming quite so bleurrgh again? Does it need a quick wipe down after every use? How does everyone else do it?

I leave the door open to disperse the heat after use.... so steam doesn't run down creating mess
