Tempted as they seem to have good offers on I have the freezer space to buy in bulk but I am really fussy over meat i sniff everything a zillion times even if it's well within the use by date

My dh ordered stuff- there was nothing to suggest it was dodgy but it's vacuum packed and the chicken smelt really weird and quite disgusting actually when unpacked (literature that came with it said that was normal Hmm).

Meant to say, it tasted good though and no ill effects from it!

I used to use muscle foods, but the lack of variety in their deals got tedious after a while....there's only so much you can do with steak, chicken and turkey everyday. I use themeatman.co.uk now instead.
The value is just as good, but you get much more variety! They do ready-made variety packs, but I've found that I get more for my money if I add the items I want to my basket individually. It takes a bit longer, but makes meal planning easier Smile

That's what puts me off I think if it smelt weird or disgusting i would just bin it. Will look at the meatman does that smell funny when unpacked ?

Alfie I normally put it straight in the freezer when I unpack it - no smell that I've noticed, and just smells as you would expect raw chicken/meat to smell when I defrost it Smile

I tried muscle foods, really cheap and nasty meat. I binned most of it.

I've used muscle food for two years and find their food very good. The only thing I don't like is the chicken burgers but that's a personal preference.

I used Westin Gourmet who have been bought out by Muscle Foods. Their stuff was always really good quality and I won an amazing hamper of steaks, sausages, burgers etc from them in a competition a few years ago!
