Zoflora!

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

Everything! I use it for floors, work tops, sinks, bathroom, pretty much all surfaces.

In the washing machine while doing laundry, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, the fridge, steam mops... You can pretty much use it anywhere. :)

I put 2 capfuls in a washing machine when the kids have wet the bed

Zoflora addict here!

I love wiping my skirting boards with it, door frames, anything and everything and also wipe the radiators with itBlush

I have tried every single one and only buy 2 which are bouquet and country garden- house smells amazing.

Use it everywhere Grin
Pets beds, floors, wipe radiators with it and it scents your room as they warm up (obviously in winter), inside wardrobes to keep them fresh smelling. My Gran even washed her pants and laundry in it (before fabric conditioner was a thing) and I soaked babies nappies in a weak solution of it. Soak dishcloths in it overnight and tea towels too.
Spray teenagers trainers with it. And if you have artificial flowers give them a spray with it too. Oh and wipe your hoover with it. But above all, no matter how lovely is smells DO NOT SHOWER IN IT OR DRINK IT!

Right. This will all get me started. I'm paranoid that potty training has left the house smelling like a urinal. My friends swear not but they are my friends.

Keep 'em coming!

All of the above and put a few beat drops at the bottom of the kitchen bin. Keeps it smelling good.

Those of you who put it in the washing machine - what do you do? Just pour a capful into the drawer or the drum?

I make up a spray bottle and use that for everything. I like to pour a few neat drops in the sink or washing up bowl with hot water and let it stand for a while then pour it down the sink to make the drains smell a bit better. Sometimes I put a few drops in the cistern.
The nicest smells to me so far are Twilight Garden (so good you could practically wear it as perfume, and apple orchard)

Spray bottle for bins, wipe round bathroom and skirtings.

In the litter tray before it gets rinsed out with boiling water! Maybe not useful if you don't have cats..

The zoflora website gives lots of tips. I use it in the washing machine by putting a capful or 2 in the fabric softener compartment

takesnoprisoners · 08/09/2016 17:33

EmGee I usually pour it in the softener compartment.

You have to be careful with it around cats, anything which contains phenols (goes cloudy in water) is very toxic to cats. So wipe up spills, rinse well, don't use it on wounds on them, etc.

Oh I use it on everything! Especially the Hoover!

....and make sure you buy it from Home Bargains

Is it just me that finds one bottle equals one use?
The bottles are so small!!

You really don't need much. I tend to pour a generous amount onto a sponge per item i.e. 1 pour for kitchen worktop, 1 pour for sink, 1 pour for loo.

EstellaHavisham with your user name I suppose you might need more than others 😊 but do dilute it.

I always used Bouquet, as my mother and grandmother did, because it reminded me of my childhood when I lived far away from them. There are some new varieties that I will try, I like the Linen at the moment.

I always use it when mopping the floor and wiping doors etc and the tiny drop in the bottom of the bin is a good tip.

If you use it in the washing machine, do you put some in whilst doing a clothes wash? Or an empty wash?

Also do you use it instead of or as well as fabric conditioner?

Forgot how much I love this stuff! Just ordered Linen, can I put it in a steam cleaner do you think?

Grumpy - I've always said Twilight Garden reminds me of either a perfume or aftershave. Love it!
