Stain on trousers?

Hi everyone.

I wore my favourite really good fitting and comfy white jeans on Thursday. I had some shopping and the pasta salad leaked through the bag on my knee through to me jeans. I've washed on 40 degrees with Oxy whitening. Soaked in hot water with Oxy whitening. Applied a paste of water and baking soda. Washed on a long hot stain cycle. The stain has subsided a bit. I'm letting them dry and I will try them on to see if it looks noticeable. Does anyone know any wonder methods or products on how to remove it anymore. I might try bleaching however I've never done it before.

I would try Parazone. Is the stitching white? If the stitching is not white and is polyester it won't work.
The metal zip may become discoloured.
Please don't go by me though as I am no domestic goddess but didn't want to read and run.

What sort of stain? Oily, tomato? Try rubbing washing up liquid into the stain before washing

De-solvit pre ash spray might help too - in a small metal tin with other stain removers

I swear by Sainsburys pre wash stain remover in purple bottle but not sure if it will work if you have already washed the jeans.

I'd try it and rewash on a higher temp then put them in direct sunlight to dry

Is it the astonish Oxy?
That usually gets anything out,I'd try soaking again in hot water, Astonish Oxy & Biological washing powder for as long as you can then re washing and drying outside in the sun.

I've soaked heavily stained items for a few days in the past, changing the soaking solution every 24 hours or so.

Is it oily? Try a mixture of washing up liquid and soda crystals - mix to a paste and rub onto stain, then leave for an hour, then soak overnight in washing up liquidy water

then wash

don't tumble dry or you'll fix the stain

The stains may already be fixed by using hot water to soak and wash. I would try leaving them somewhere where sunlight will be on the stain (this works through a window btw) and it may miraculously disappear.

It sounds like your jeans are in need of Dr.Beckmanns treatment. Simply apply on to the jeans and watch the stain dissappear.

Fairy liquid original. Rub in neat with a bit of water then wash as normal.

Ace for whites is incredible. It's basically laundry bleach so will bleach the jeans back to white without rotting the fabric. My little one mushed in a bowl of raspberries into her white cotton sun hat, I poured some ace on and the stain disappears in front of your eyes!!! Just discovered ace and love it. The ace for colours isn't as great tho.
