I'm so nervous we have barely packed anything yet there's boxes everywhere.
Not even sure we're packing everything right haha

Can you get your removal firm to pack? Worth it if you can afford it. Send the cat to a friend or relative's for the day. See if someone can help you out with the baby.

Pack a bag with things you need for the first few days. Put paperwork in a safe place.
Get rid of any unwanted items and then just start in one room and pack. When that room is done move on to the next one.
Ideally designate a room that you can store the packed boxes in.
Pack a box for the car with cups and kettle etc. Hth.

Now is the time to dump everything you don't want or need. The charity shop is your best friend right now! You will want food, tea, bed, and clothes for the first 24 hours, craft books and special handbags can wait.
But honestly, get life-cleansing dumping

Put the cat in a cattery for a day or two before the move. If local collect once you're in or if not literally collect and set off for the New place.

I've started throwing things out without asking i feel guilty but it's clutter .. I think I have it under control now most things except what we are using have been boxed up or in bin bags there's piles of books and dvds for charity shop. .. I'm not sure if the cat would be okay for us to leave her upstairs with her toys and food whilst they move everything into the van and take her round when they've at least got the stuff in the house. ..

I wouldn't risk leaving your cat in the house while everything is packed into the van for moving. If she gets spooked she may run away. And you won't be there a few hours/days later when she comes back.

True wed be back for her in an hour I might leave her with my mum just ffor an hour so she doesn't get spooked
