Thinking of hiring a cleaner

We're thinking of hiring a cleaner and have found a few companies who all say on their websites that they send someone out to review your home and cleaning requirements before providing you with a quote.

we have a 3 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms (one downstairs, one ensuite and one main). I would be looking for a weekly clean including dusting, unpacking/repacking the dishwasher, washing up, hoovering, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms.

Roughly how much do you think I would be looking to pay? Just want to get an idea so when I get quotes it'll help me work out if they are reasonable or not.

Hi there, GothicRainbow (love the username)
I'm using FastKlean for couple of years and would like to recommend using their services. However, their services are paid per hour and you'd pay roughly £50 a week. Their hourly rate for weekly cleaning sessions is £12 per cleaner, and I think that one cleaner for 4 hours should do the work you require. I've always been delighted by their services. My cleaner Tanya is cleaning every single spot of my house. Flowers

We charge a flat rate per job rather than hourly rate but I too was thinking within about £50-60 ish price range for weekly frequency of a family home that size with additional housekeeping tasks (washing up and loading dishwasher etc) although depending on the scope of the work when the rep sees your home in most cases.

Just a thought. Do you know any older ladies? Reason being my friends mates do it. They use it to top up their pension and very reliable. But pros and cons with this
